Service 47/47A – Route and Timetable Changes effective Monday 7th September 2026

From Monday 7 September, a revised route and timetable will be introduced on services 47/47A.

The service will no longer operate along Campsie Road between Torrance and Kirkintilloch. Instead, buses will travel via Torrance Road and Kirkintilloch Road.

Within Torrance, the route will be extended to serve School Road, Mill Crescent and Campsie Road, providing improved coverage for residents.

This change is being introduced due to the challenging driving conditions on the narrow section of Campsie Road between Torrance and Kirkintilloch, where there is currently very little passenger use.
