03/04/2010 - Fair is Fare, no price increase with us!
Further to recent fares increase across many bus operators in the Glasgow area, McColl's will not be increasing fares it was announced today.
We recently ended our promotional All Day & Weekly ticket prices and made an increase but did not increase Single Fares. Many operators have had to increase Single Fares due to rising Fuel Costs amoungst other expenses.
McColl's do not need to increase as we have contigencies already in place to support the company through this temporary increase in expenses.
Many bus operators also use the current higher expenses as an excuse for a fares increase then in coming momths, the expenses lower but the higher fares stay in place.
Support McColl's and we will ensure Fair is FARE!
